Chinese New Year has been part of the Philippines for a very long time. Having a large population of Chinese in the country, Filipinos adapted Chinese culture and belief. One doesn’t need to have a Chinese blood for them to celebrate Chinese New Year.
The night before February 19, Chinese decorations like lanterns, dancing dragon and red laces can be seen in some places in Manila that are known to be places with many Chinese people. One famous place is Binondo (Lucky China Town).
I want to go somewhere and eat noodles in a Chinese restaurant but because I need to do school works and to study, I can’t leave the house. So we cooked Tikoy that my sister bought. I am satisfied. ^^
