Burger with love

Here’s another food blog post that will make our heart jump with joy ang hug our stomach. Let’s go with the details.

My sister and I went to the mall to buy some baking needs and when we got hungry, we tried this burger restaurant located at the 2nd floor of SM Fairview, cinema side.

image

We both ordered their Bacon Wildshroom Burger, grilled patty topped with crispy bacon, with cheese, lettuce and mayo. It’s a blast by the way.

image

I ordered the large size cost Php 195.00 and if you want to have fries and drink, just add Php 39.00. If the large size is too much for you, don’t worry they have a regular size too.

Their patties and burger buns are grilled and medium cook if I remember. The bacon stays on its place so I like that I don’t eat all the bacon before I finish the whole burger.
/clap clap/

They offered softdrinks, cucumber lemonade, and red iced tea. My sister ordered cucumber lemonade and I ordered mixed (red iced tea and cucumber lemonade) . Tastes good, just saying.

It’s our first time to eat in BBB. And I’ll surely return to have another taste of their menu.

Winter On My Tongue

Living in a tropical country will make you sweat like a pig. However, the hot weather becomes an advantage when you crave for something cold. We can have as much as ice as we can endure and nothing is stopping us because we don’t have winter. :p

A plan to accompany my friend for his homework on his journalism class led us to this cutesy place.

I’ve seen this shop a couple of times but the name is not catchy. It’s so plain. Yelo in English is ice. Nothing special, right? So what’s with ice?
Behold. Never underestimate the name of the shop.

Yelo! A Taste of Snow
image
We asked the one of the staffs about the category of the shop and she said that Yelo! A Taste Of Snow is a diner. S’okay.

The shop was already in the market for two years. Established in June 2013 and owned by a couple–a Korean guy and a Filipina.

If you visited Korea, you probably know the dessert shop Ssulbing where you can have a delicious flavorful crushed ice. The snow ice in this place is very similar to the Korean dessert shop.

The place is very cute. It made me feel like a princess. Having a pink wall color and cute pink chairs will complete your princess dream.

The menu is also pink. Cute!

The outside appearance of the shop gave me a London vibe. Take a look.

Nachos with cheese dip and chocolae ice

I am not sure if nachos go along with chocolate but having a weird taste buds, it doesn’t bother me at all! Hehe.

I was happy with the service because we just waited for more or less 5 minutes and then got our orders. For me, it was a fast service. The crews are also accomodating and approachable. They are ready to satisfy the needs of their customers. Thumbs up for that.

For the prices of their menu, it ranges from 55 php to 300 php. The snow ice cost 70 for a plain snow ice, 85 php with fruit and syrup, and 115 for overload — more ice, more fruits and 3 different toppings. The rice meals cost 75 ala carte and less than 300 for combo meals.

The place is good for any ages. I’ve seen teenagers and middle-aged people eat in the shop. A food industry like this is perfect in the market.

The place is also accesible. It is just in front of Centro Eskolar University and Samson College of Science and Technology. Located in the 2nd floor of Gordi Plaza Ladies Dorm.

Will I visit the diner again? Definitely will! I will bring my friends and try the other flavors of their snow ice or will grab a smoothie.

Project Pie: White Pizza or Red Pizza

image

Left side my friend’s choice
–red sauce, cheese (the one with color black, forgot the name sorry hehe), pepperoni, ham, and mushroom
Right side my choice
–olive oil, mozarella cheese, another cheese (I forgot again, sorry), chicken meat, pepperoni, ham, pineapple, and corn

This is my second time to eat in Project Pie. Seeing my friend’s pizza color different from mine made me said, “Your pizza looks yummier”. It actually doesn’t just looked yummy,it was tastier too.

To make eveything I said shorter, the next time that I will eat in Project Pie, I will choose red sauce. I always choose to have olive oil because of the thought that I will get less calories from eating pizza without red sauce. But screw that thought. I only eat pizza occassionally. Having a delicious pizza rarely is fine, right? πŸ˜‰

Can’t wait for the day that I will have another stop in Project Pie.

Tell me your taste in pizza. πŸ™‚

Happiness in Cupcakes

They say money can’t buy happiness but for me there are things that you can buy to make you happy, like sweets: Ice cream, cake and cupcakes. Shopping and travelling are some of the activities that can give you happiness.

I went to Trinoma to spend some time in my favorite eating place while reading a book. When I was about to go home, I saw this cupcake stall — Frostings, beside the escalator. As I fan of cupcakes, I check the flavors and prices of the cupcakes. I was delighted to see how affordable the prices are. For the regular, it is only 50 pesos while the premium is 60. The regular mini cupcakes (bite-sized) cost 10 pesos and premium 12 pesos. They also sell macaroons and lollipop cupcake.

I bought a box of mini cupcakes. I mixed the regular and premium cupcakes and cost me 152 pesos. So cheap! I find it cheap because in other cupcake shops, cupcakes cost 80 pesos and above and they don’t have mini cupcakes. If you buy a box of their cupcakes, you will get a 5% discount (140php) and 10% discount if two boxes. Mine cost higher than 140 because I ordered a combination of regular and oremium cupcakes.

Happy V-Day!

This post contains how singles celebrate Valentines Day. This is only one way for the singles to celebrate. There are many other things how. And this is how I celebrated V-day.

After school, I asked for my friend’s help to transfer my things from my dormitory to our new house. Because we were so hungry, we decided to eat first. My friend is craving for Korean and Japanese food. Luckily, there is a Korean resto near my dormitory.

So this is our V-day celebration. Eat one meal together and talk about random things.

You don’t need flowers, chocolates and a man to celebrate your Valentine’s Day. A good food with a good fella is enough perfect.
